A weed control project has been conducted at Carmila Beach Reserve throughout the 2015-2016 year. The project was
aimed at controlling invasive weeds to conserve and preserve the natural values of the area. Carmila Beach contains
mapped remnant vegetation including two endangered and one of concern ecosystems. The area provides essential habitat for the Northern Quoll and a number of other listed species.
