As a Reef Guardian Council, with recognised important standalone wetlands and waterways including endangered species living off the coastline, Isaac Regional Council understands the importance of protecting the waterways from pollution. Council, in conjunction with Reef Catchments, delivered three Reef out the Rubbish days at Carmila Beach, Grosvenor Creek (Moranbah), and Hoods Lagoon (Clermont) in March 2015.
