Through the Australian Government’s Reef Programme, Whitsunday Regional Council, in partnership with Reef Catchments, has installed three gross pollutant traps within the Cannonvale Botanic Gardens precinct to reduce the gross pollutant load entering Pioneer Bay and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
