Currently preparing detailed design for regional stormwater wetlands located where McCreadys Creek intersects Holts Rd and Beaconsfield Road. These wetlands are proposed as part of the “Voluntary Mechanism for Stormwater Quality Management” in Mackay, Will treat stormwater quality and provide fish habitat as well as amenity and aesthetic values. Note these are not yet constructed but it is envisaged to get the design to a “shovel-ready” state so that grant applications can be applied for
